Transportation

Are you arriving in Toronto by plane? If you’ve booked accommodation in the city centre, you’ll need to navigate to downtown Toronto. From Pearson International Airport, the easiest way to get downtown is by using the UP (Union Pearson) Express train located in Terminal 1 of the airport. At a cost of $12.35, it is an economical way to get to Union Station which is in the city center. If you arrive at Terminal 3 of the airport, you can take the overhead tram to Terminal 1 to catch the UP train.

If you happen to be flying into Billy Bishop airport on Toronto Island (which services Air Canada Express or Porter flights from Montreal, Quebec City, as well as Boston, New York and other major centers), there is a complimentary shuttle service that you can catch outside the airport’s mainland terminal building; it will take you the short distance to Union Station. The pedestrian tunnel can be used to get from the airport to the mainland terminal.

Once you arrive at Union Station, the conference hotels are all within easy walking distance (10–15 minutes). If you’ve made alternate arrangements for accommodation, you can use the subway and other public transportation to travel around the city.

The conference venue at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is located conveniently close to Union Station as well. From Union Station you can use the SkyWalk to walk to the Convention Center in indoor comfort. Learn more on how to get to the MTCC from various points in the city.
